Since the experience involves walking across large stone pathways and climbing multiple levels of the temple, wearing comfortable clothing and proper footwear is highly recommended.
To stay comfortable during the visit, especially during daytime hours, it’s a good idea to bring water, sunscreen, and a hat for protection from the sun. Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the venue.
As Borobudur is an important cultural and historical site, smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited. Visitors who violate these regulations may be asked to leave the area by staff members.
For added convenience, the activity is also stroller and wheelchair accessible. Making the site more comfortable to explore for a wider range of visitors.

Regular visits will operate from 07:00–14:00 WIB, with access limited to the garden area (Zone 2) only.
From 14:00 WIB onwards, access to the Borobudur area will be reserved exclusively for participants attending the #VesakatBorobudur celebration activities.
