Participants must be aged 5–65 and in good physical condition. The tour is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with severe asthma, heart conditions, or high blood pressure due to sulfur gas fumes.
A health certificate (Surat Sehat) is required. It is not included in the package but may be obtained during transit after pick-up for approximately IDR 25,000–35,000 per person.
No. The mandatory visitor insurance included with the Kawah Ijen entrance ticket covers visitors within the officially covered area up to the crater rim. It does not cover activities or incidents beyond the crater rim, including access to the Blue Fire area. A valid government-issued ID or passport is required for insurance claims.
Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 1 day before the trip (D-1) and are subject to slot availability. Cancellations made at least 3 days before departure receive a full refund. Cancellations made 2 days before incur a 50% fee, while cancellations made 1 day before or on the activity date are non-refundable.
