Tirta Empul Temple in Bali is renowned for its beautiful grounds, spiritual atmosphere, and the unique Melukat purification ritual in holy spring water. Visitors are drawn to its cultural significance, serene gardens, and the immersive experience of participating in traditional cleansing ceremonies. While the temple offers a memorable and visually stunning visit, many note the crowds, commercialization, and pushy vendors as detracting factors. Despite these issues, the temple remains a must-see for those seeking to experience Balinese culture and spirituality.

It is a beautiful balinese temple with entry ticket of 75k. You can visit if you want to take a purifying dip. Else it is not worth the money you pay. Once you enter your will get a sarong, included in price of the entry ticket. Your can visit the temple. If you wish to take a dip, they will give your a separate green sarong. There are few good spots to click pictures.

Beautiful temple and a perfect short stop for pictures. The surroundings are very peaceful, clean, and well maintained, making it a great place to experience Balinese culture and traditional architecture. The atmosphere feels calm and spiritual, and even a brief visit here leaves a lasting impression.
The entry fee is IDR 50,000 per person, and for kids aged 2–10 years it’s IDR 30,000, which is quite reasonable for such a well-kept attraction. A free sarong is provided for adults, which is very convenient and ensures visitors follow the dress code. Sarong is not required for kids, making it easier for families traveling with children.
There is ample free parking available, which adds to the hassle-free experience, especially for tourists arriving by car. One of the highlights after your visit is the huge local market at the exit gate, where you can explore and shop for a variety of souvenirs, handicrafts, and local items at decent prices.
Overall, it’s a lovely, easy-to-visit spot that combines culture, convenience, and a peaceful environment, making it ideal for a quick yet memorable stop during your Bali trip.
