Faunia

Faunia is a nature and wildlife park located in Madrid, Spain, designed around immersive ecosystems and themed habitats. The attraction combines a zoo, botanical environment, educational exhibits, and interactive animal experiences across spacious outdoor and indoor areas. Visitors can discover wildlife from around the world while exploring carefully recreated climates and environments in a family-friendly setting.

The park features more than 1,200 animals from over 150 species spread across 15 themed areas and four major ecosystems, including the Jungle, Polar Ecosystem, African Forest, and Mediterranean habitats. Guests can see king penguins, Komodo dragons, manatees, lemurs, sea lions, flamingos, and tropical birds while enjoying educational talks, feeding sessions, and interactive experiences. The Polar Ecosystem is especially known for being one of Europe’s largest penguin habitats.

Most guests spend between half a day and a full day exploring the attraction depending on their pace and participation in scheduled activities. Entry is available through printed or mobile tickets, and the visit follows a self-guided format with clearly marked routes throughout the park. Visitors can take breaks at restaurants, picnic zones, shops, and rest areas while moving between ecosystems and exhibits.
